Design Rationale
“Finding Mr.Glowfish” is designed for young children and individuals with thalassophobia (phobia of the deep ocean).
After visiting a bookstore and researching existing ocean-themed books, it became clear that most lacked a cohesive storyline. Many were general ocean adventures or focused solely on deep-sea exploration. This discovery led to the creation of a story with a clear and continuous narrative, centered around the search for a mysterious protagonist.
Story Overview
This story follows Sasha, a young explorer who embarks on a journey from the sunny surface of the sea to the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean.
Along the way, she is guided by a sailfish and joined by friends such as a seagull, a glowing starfish, a moon jellyfish, a giant squid, and an anglerfish. The goal is to showcase the different ocean zones and their natural wonders.

Characters
Since the main audience is children, the drawing style is meant to be playful and whimsical. Marine creatures from shallow areas can be shown in bright colors and in a friendly way. Deep-ocean creatures can have creepy and mythical elements. This approach adds to the story layers and emotions, bringing audiences into the underwater world.
Sasha
A young explorer, she lay in the boat, rocking gently on the waves. Suddenly, she heard a seagull and a sailfish talking about a magical glowing fish.
Seagull & Sailfish
The sailfish and the seagull chat with Sasha, and the sailfish volunteers to be her guide. It accompanies her on the adventure and offers safety advice whenever needed.
Starfish & Moon Jellyfish
Sasha first meets a starfish in the shallow sea, then encounters a moon jellyfish in the twilight zone. They both point out that Mr. Glowfish lives in the deeper ocean.
Giant Squid & Anglerfish
The water grows darker, and the creatures become stranger. It feels as though the whole world has disappeared. Finally, a giant squid guides Sasha to meet the anglerfish.
